Frequently asked questions
How do I book a cabin?
Search by area, dates and number of guests. Open a cabin, choose your dates and send a request. You sign in with a code that we send to your email. The host has 24 hours to reply, and you pay only once the host has confirmed.
What happens after I have sent a request?
The host has 24 hours to reply. If the host says yes, the booking appears in your account, and we email you when it is time to pay.
If the host says no, or does not reply in time, the request expires. Nothing has been charged.
Why can't I see the exact address?
Before booking, the map shows an approximate location, a few hundred metres from the cabin. This protects empty cabins against break-ins. The exact address, directions and key details are shown in your booking once it is paid.
Are there any fees for guests?
No. The price you see is the full price, including VAT. You pay no fee to Stugtid.
Can I pay the host directly, in cash or with Swish?
No. Always pay through Stugtid, never to the host directly or outside the site. If someone asks you to do that, tell us.
